Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Welcome to our Recycle page!
We have all kinds of ways you can help out just by thinking of the school when you look around your house.
Currently we could use:
- Colorful caps from milk jugs
- Old halloween costumes for pretend play
- Phones with bases (see example photos below). We can remove the cord, if not already a cordless phone, and it makes a great realistic prop for pretend play.
- Vests or other dress up clothes that have snaps, large buttons, or zippers.
Getting a new PC for the holidays?
Please think of The Learning Tree when considering what to do with your old one. Three of our classrooms have out of date computers and could use a new hand me down. We don't need overly fancy computers to run the children's software, just need decent computers with a clean operating system.
Recycling Food Packages
And finally a couple of our parents have worked to get our school registered to collect certain food packages for recycling. Please see the pdf flyers below for more information on what can be collected. These items can be brought in dry condition and left in the baskets with the recycling labels found under the sign in sheets in the school entry.
